The Varsity Baseball team has challenged the girls to a soccer game. The game will be played in the outfield of the varsity baseball field.

CIF Division V Semifinals

The Conqs great season came to an end in the semifinals to a strong Lancers team. 

La Serna losses to Downey, 2-1 in overtime in the CIF Division V Finals.

Downey is the only other team to defeat the Conqs this season.

The girls played their hearts out and gave everything they had not only in this game, but the entire season.

This team shattered most of the school records and won back to back League Championships and were back to back CIF Semifinalists.

 

The Girls would like to thank all the parents, family, and friends who have showed us such tremendous support this season.

 

We want to thank our four seniors for their hard work and their wonderful friendship.

Maddie Harris, Sarah Heath, Kayla Lown, and Rhiannon Saxe.

We will miss you girls next season.

CIF Division V Quarterfinals

The Lady Conqs came out flying against the Lancers. Just 2 minutes into the game, Rebecka Miranda held off two defenders and dropped a perfect pass to Jamie Miller, who hit a first time shot for the first goal. Just a minute later, Rebecka drove down the left side and hit a low cross to the front post that Kelsey Sherry drove into the net.

Rebecka scored the third goal in the 10th minute, heading in a Miranda Sparrow cross.

The defense was outstanding in containing the Lancers offense especially leading scorer McKenzie Atkins, who came into the game having scored 45 goals on the year. Athena Nava did a super job of shutting her down with help from Mia Cortez and the rest of the defense.

Rebecka capped the scoring by taking a quick chip by Miranda Sparrow and then chipping over the on rushing Lancer goalie.

The goal was the 100th scored by the Conqs this season.
