 Conqs clinch playoff spots

 

The Conqs clinched a CIF playoff spot with a 4-0 win over Lompoc on Tuesday.

Rebecka Miranda scored 2 goals, Marissa Reyna and Miranda Sparrow each had one.

The Conqs outshot the Braves 27-5 and Kiki Miller earned her 7th shutout of the year.

 

The girls are now 7-0-1 in league.

 

The JV team battled to a hard fought scoreless tie with the Braves.

Ricky Patel earned the shutout for the Conqs.

 Conqs sink the Pirates

 

The Conqs swept the Pirates at home with the Varsity winning 7-0 and the JV, 3-1.

The Varsity team cruised to an easy win shutting down the Pirates to no shots on goal, while the Conqs put up 52 shots. Kayla Lown and Kelsey Sherry both scored two goals with Rebecka Miranda, Audriana Laporte, and Sarah Heath also scoring.  Athena Nava had two assists.

 

The JV team picked up a league win with a strong second half to defeat the Pirates.

Emma Fienga, Destiny Shott, and Jamie Hedges all found the net for the Conqs.

Conqs on top after round 1.

 

The Conqs finished up the first round of league play with a 2-1 win at Nipomo. With the win, the Conqs sit in first place with a 5-0-1 league record.

Rebecka Miranda scored the first goal off an assist from Athena Nava. Miranda Sparrow put in a rebound for her 8th goal of the year.

The Conqs will now host Morro Bay on Thursday to start the crucial second round of league play.
